Police are growing increasingly concerned for a man who has gone missing from Kirkcaldy in Fife.

William Godsell, 61, was last seen boarding an X62 bus to Edinburgh on Wednesday, April 26 at 6.30am.

Mr Godsell is believed to have links to the Carlisle area.

He is described as white, 5ft 8in, of medium build, and wears glasses. He uses crutches, has short grey hair and was last seen wearing a black hooded top.

Community sergeant Kenny Greig, of Kirkcaldy Police Station, said: "We are getting increasingly concerned for William and I would encourage him to contact us to let us know that he is safe and well.

"Anyone who has information on his whereabouts is urged to contact us immediately."
