Man hit by double decker bus as it pulled away from stop
The victim is in hospital following the collision near a bus stop in Edinburgh.
A man suffered serious leg injuries after being struck by a double decker bus in Edinburgh.
The 33-year-old was struck by a number 4 Lothian Bus as it pulled away from a bus stop on Duddingston Row near its junction with Bingham Avenue on Wednesday at 6.10pm.
The injured man was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, where he remains in a stable condition.
Officers from the council road policing unit are urging anyone who witnessed the crash on the southbound carriageway to come forward.
Sergeant Kos Papakyriakou said: "As part of our ongoing inquiries we are keen to hear from any bus passengers, motorists or other members of the public who witnessed this incident and I would urge them to contact police immediately."
