Light aircraft makes emergency landing at Fife Airport
The Cessna plane landed on the runway after the pilot reported a technical failure.
A light aircraft has been forced to make an emergency landing in a field after taking off at Fife Airport.
The Cessna plane had just taken off from the runway, near Glenrothes, when the pilot reported a technical failure.
It landed in a nearby field at around 8.55am on Wednesday.
Emergency services were called to the scene as a precaution, however, there were no reports of injuries.
