Prince Harry took part in a "short, but extremely moving" ceremony for fallen Gurkha soldiers who served alongside the British army during the war in Afghanistan.

The Royal was present at the service while he visited the Gurkha recruitment headquarters in Nepal, continuing his five-day tour of the country.

Laying a wreath to the 10 soldiers who died during the Afghanistan conflict, he wrote: "With the deepest, admiration respect and gratitude. Your sacrifice will never be forgotten".
