Singer John Newman, 26, has confirmed that his brain tumour has returned but he has vowed to keep making music.

Newman, who was originally diagnosed with a non-cancerous brain tumour in 2012, has not did not disclosed any details about his treatment but said "people shouldn't worry" about him.

He added that he considers himself "one of the lucky ones".

The artist from North Yorkshire rose to fame when he featured on the 2012 hits Not Giving In and Feel The Love from drum and bass band Rudimental.

In 2012 he was referred to a neurosurgeon after having difficulties with his eyesight.

He told the Evening Standard: "I started going blind. But being Northern, I just thought, 'I'm fine, I'll just need some glasses'.

He underwent surgery but was told that the tumour could grow back.
