Pop star Justin Bieber rounded off his stay in Scotland by tucking in to a haggis supper at one of Glasgow's busiest chip shops.

The Canadian singer was captured on CCTV in the Blue Lagoon on Argyle Street shortly after finishing his sold-out show at the SSE Hydro.

The 22-year-old, who was in Scotland for three nights as part of his Purpose World Tour, popped into the chippy with two bodyguards to sample some local delicacies at around 10.30pm on Saturday.

CCTV footage shows the singer chatting and joking with staff in the shop as he waits for his order.

Two teenage girls can then be seen walking in and looking stunned when they realise who is standing in the queue in front of them.

Owner Alessandro Varese said Bieber spent £20 in the shop ordering up a variety of deep-fried suppers before washing it down with some Irn-Bru.

Mr Varese said: "Justin Bieber and all his security guys were in here on Saturday night.

"They had a haggis supper, fish supper and two sausage suppers between him and the security.

"They had a good bit of chit chat in the shop. He seemed quite excited to try the Glaswegian cuisine."

The chip shop director said at first staff did not recognise the singer, who was in the shop for around half an hour.

He added: "I think initially they might not have recognised him but then they were taken aback a bit when they realised who it was.

"He was in quite a good mood. He was laughing and joking with the staff."

Bieber, who was staying at the nearby Radisson Blue Hotel, reportedly spent the evening visiting some local bars in the city centre with his entourage.
