Two people have been taken to hospital after a lorry and a car crashed on the A90 north of Aberdeen.

Emergency services were called to the scene north of Aberdeen following the collision at about 4.30pm on Thursday.

The road was blocked in both directions between the junction with the B977 at Balmedie, and the A975 at Foveran.

Two people were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The road was reopened at around 5:50pm.
