A teenager has been charged with causing the death of a man by driving dangerously.

Shari Dunbar, 18, appeared at Peterhead Sheriff Court on Monday following a crash in Fraserburgh, Aberdeenshire, last year which claimed the life of 45-year-old Nuno Barbara.

Mr Nuno died at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary four days after the collision on September 3.

Dunbar, who was 17 at the time of the crash, made no plea or declaration during her appearance in court and was granted bail.

Mr Nuno, from Portugal, was working for Fraserburgh-based International Fish Canners at the time of his death.
