Police have seized a haul of heroin and crack cocaine worth more than £100,000.

The drugs were recovered during a raid in Bridge of Don, Aberdeen, on Wednesday.

A 49-year-old man is expected to appear at the city's sheriff court on Thursday in connection.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: "A 49-year-old male from Aberdeen has been charged following the recovery of crack cocaine and heroin with a street value in excess of £100,000.

"The recovery was made during an intelligence-led drugs search warrant at a property in the Bridge of Don area on Wednesday.

"The male is expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today."
