Public urged to prepare themselves and family for winter health
Health secretary Alex Neil wants members of the public to do everything they can to prepare for the festive period.
Members of the public are being urged to prepare themselves and their families for winter.
Health secretary Alex Neil took to the slopes with schoolchildren at Xscape in Braehead on Wednesday to highlight the government’s Be Ready for Winter Campaign.
The campaign is encouraging people to take simple steps to ensure they can take care of themselves and their family over the festive period.
Members of the public are advised to restock their medicine cabinet, checking their repeat prescriptions and take note of GP opening hours.
If these steps are taken, people can ensure they are prepared to cope with winter health.
