Ex-PC denies stealing sex toys, drugs and cash from police station
Dean Burnett, 42, is accused of taking £200,000 in cash while working at Govan Police Office.
A former police officer has appeared in court accused of stealing drugs, cash and sex toys from the station where he worked.
Dean Burnett, 42, pled not guilty to taking more than £200,000 in cash from Govan Police Office in Helen Street, Glasgow, while he was employed there between July 2009 and January 2012.
He is also alleged to have stolen quantities of Viagra, Ecstasy, cocaine, heroin, amphetamine and cannabis, as well as "a quantity of sex toys".
Another charge alleges the former constable was concerned in the supply of cocaine from his home in Partick and other addresses to a number of women during 2011.
Burnett is further accused of being concerned in the supply of cannabis and diazepam to some of the women and offering to supply one of them with heroin.
Judge Lord Turnbull, sitting at the High Court in Edinburgh, ordered a further hearing next month and released Burnett on bail.
