Police confirm identity of man found dead in River Tweed
The body was discovered near Newton St Boswells in the Scottish Borders.
The body of a man found dead in the River Tweed last week has been identified.
Lothian and Borders Police have confirmed that the body was of local man Ian Kyle, 46.
The man was discovered at about 11.30am on Thursday, April 12.
The man was from Newton St Boswells in the Scottish Borders which was where his body was found last week.
A police spokesperson stated that there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding Mr Kyle’s death.
A report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
