Over a thousand bikers took to the streets in Glasgow in fancy dress for a charity fundraiser.

An array of costumed riders on motorbikes, trikes, quadbikes and scooters took part in the 37th Easter Egg Run, setting off from Glasgow Green this morning.

The route takes in some of the city’s famous landmarks, including the Clyde Arc ‘Squinty’ Bridge and will finish back at the new site of the Royal Hospital for Sick Children.

The event was organised by the Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity, formerly known as Yorkhill, and is expected to raise tens of thousands of pounds.
