Man and woman found dead after police called to flat
Officers treating deaths as 'unexplained' after discovery in Paisley earlier in the week.
Two bodies have been discovered at a flat as police launch a probe into the unexplained deaths.
A man and woman were found dead in Paisley, Renfrewshire, on Tuesday night after police were called to the property.
The pair, named locally as 45-year-old John Smith and 40-year-old Linda Nealis, were found in a flat in the town's Gordon Street at around 8.55pm
Post-mortem examinations have taken place and detectives say they are treating the deaths as unexplained.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Around 8.55pm on Tuesday police attended at an address in Gordon Street, Paisley, where a 40-year-old woman and 45-year-old man were found dead.
"Post-mortem examinations have been carried out and the deaths are currently being treated as unexplained."
