Fire crews are tackling a well-developed blaze in a derelict building in the Partick area of Glasgow.

The fire, at Scotway House on Castlebank Street , was reported around 9pm on Friday. The building sits next to the River Clyde and Riverside Museum in the west end of the city.

There were no reports of any injuries or of anyone being inside the building.

Castlebank Street has been closed between Pointhouse Place, at the Transport Museum, and Hayburn Street due to the fire.

A fire service spokeswoman said further information would be made available in due course.

The area around Glasgow Harbour is currently undergoing development as part of a major commercial regeneration plan.

Scotway House, a class B listed building, was built in 1885 as an office for marine engineering and shipbuilding company David and William Henderson and Co.
