The family of a man reported missing are growing "increasingly concerned" for him.

Stuart Teese was last seen driving from his home in Bearsden, East Dunbartonshire, at around 8.30pm on Saturday.

Police Scotland said "extensive enquiries" to find the 54-year-old have so far been unsuccessful, while they added he often visited the area around Loch Lomond.

The last time he was seen was when Mr Teese drove his silver Ford Fiesta Zetec, with registration SH11 EHM, from his home on Stirling Avenue.

Inspector Duncan Evans, from Kirkintilloch Police Office, said: "Stuart is close to his family and they are growing increasingly concerned for him and just want him home safe and well.

"He often visited the Loch Lomond and Rowardennan areas so it's possible he may have travelled there. If anyone has seen Stuart or his car then please contact officers as soon as possible and pass the information on."

Mr Teese is described as being around 5ft 8in, of medium build, with short grey hair and is normally clean shaven.

He was last seen wearing a blue and grey T-shirt with horizontal stripes, beige shorts and either slippers or shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the police on 101.
