Police have launched an appeal to find a teenage boy who has been missing since Saturday.

Scott Diver, 16, of Clydebank, was last seen at his home in Second Avenue at 2.45pm on Saturday.

Officers believe he may be in Glasgow city centre.

He is described as white, 5ft 10in, of slim build with brown eyes and dark hair.

He was last seen wearing a navy blue Adidas tracksuit with light blue stripes down the arms and legs, a white T-shirt and navy blue Adidas training shoes with grey stripes.

Inspector John McMillan at Clydebank said: "Scott's family is very anxious to hear from him as this is completely out of character to be gone for so long.

"I urge anyone who has seen Scott since Saturday afternoon or anyone who knows of his present whereabouts to contact Clydebank Police immediately via 101."
