Concerns are growing for a 16-year-old boy who has been missing for three days after disappearing from home at the weekend.

Police have launched a search for Scott Diver after he went missing from his home in Clydebank, West Dunbartonshire, on Saturday afternoon.

He was last seen at his home on Second Avenue in the town at around 2.45pm and family members reported him missing after becoming concerned.

He is described as white, 5ft 10in, slim with blue eyes and dark hair. He was wearing a navy blue Adidas tracksuit with light blue stripes down the arms and legs, a white T-shirt and navy blue Adidas trainers.

Inspector John McMillan at Clydebank said on Tuesday evening: "Despite our previous appeal and the encouraging response that we've received from the public on social media, Scott remains missing.

"As time progresses, we are becoming increasingly concerned for Scott's well-being and safety. He is a young teenage boy and understandably his family and friends are very distressed at his disappearance.

"We've been carrying out a significant number of enquiries in and around the local area of Clydebank and other areas including Glasgow city centre, and whilst we've had some possible sightings reported to us they have so far have proved negative.

"I'd like to again appeal for help from the public - please continue to share our posts on social media and please contact us if you know where Scott is."
