A mother-of-two who vanished along with her children remains missing more than 24 hours after she was last seen.

Four-year-old Eva Kerr, McKenzie Scullion, 10, and Farrah Fadli, 29, went missing from their home on Thornyflat Drive in Ayr on Wednesday morning.

Ms Fadli, also known as Gillespie, left her children with a friend in Irvine at about 7.15pm on Friday night, but left soon afterwards and has not been seen since.

Her children, who are unharmed, are now in the care of family in Ayrshire.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: "We are continuing to search for Farrah and would appeal to either herself to get in touch with them or her family or for anyone who knows where she is to contact officers at Ayr Police Office via 101."

Officers said it is the first time Ms Fadli has gone missing and described her actions as "out of character".

She is 5ft 4in tall, with a slim build and dyed blonde hair.
