A large lorry fire has sent smoke billowing across part of Glasgow.

The incident happened just after 4.15pm on Stronend Street in Maryhill on Tuesday.

Smoke caused by the blaze was visible across the area near Firhill Stadium.

Two Scottish Fire and Rescue Service appliances, involving nine firefighters, have attended the incident.

A spokeswoman said: "We have been called to a fire involving an articulated lorry."
