Watch video highlights as Celtic lose 3-0 at home to Juventus
Goals from Alessandro Matri, Claudio Marchisio and Mirko Vucinic sunk Neil Lennon's side.
Celtic were undone by individual error, profligacy in front of goal and clinical finishing from their opponents as they lost 3-0 at home to Juventus.
The Italians triumphed in the first leg of the Champions League last 16 tie, with Alessandro Matri, Claudio Marchisio and Mirko Vucinic all on target.
Efe Ambrose was at fault to allow Matri to open the scoring with just three minutes on the clock, getting caught underneath a long ball from Federico Peluso and allowing his opponent to steer past Fraser Forster.
Celtic pressed high up the pitch, forcing errors from their opponents and racking up 10 shots on goal in 27 minutes. Every effort found its way into the gloves of Gianluigi Buffon, however, with Kris Commons, Ambrose and Victor Wanyama all trying their luck.
Neil Lennon's side saw plenty of the ball but lost their verve in the second half, although Ambrose should have levelled the tie when he was gifted a free header six yards out, only to head straight at Buffon.
Juventus waited for their opportunity and carved Celtic open with ease late on, Marchisio profiting after the home defence was pulled apart by a swift passing move.
Vucinic then sealed the win after another mistake by Ambrose, pouncing on the defender's uncertainty in possession to beat Forster for Juventus' third.
