Hearts midfielder Scott Robinson to miss the rest of the season
The player will undergo knee surgery and will miss the League Cup final.
Hearts midfielder Scott Robinson will miss the rest of the season with a knee injury.
The 20-year-old who recently signed a new two-year deal with the club hasn’t played since the 3-0 defeat to Kilmarnock last month.
Robinson has been told he will have to undergo surgery on the injury, ruling him out of this month's League Cup final against St Mirren.
He has made 18 appearances for the first team this season.
Earlier this season, he was forced to apologise after refusing to sit on the substitutes bench for the club’s match against Aberdeen on December 8.
He joins Danny Grainger, Marius Zaliukas and Callum Patterson on the long-term injury list.
