Cocaine and cannabis worth around £300,000 has been seized in a series of raids in West Lothian.

Police recovered 34 kilograms of cannabis and a kilogram of cocaine from a property in Kingsfield in Linlithgow on Tuesday.

Officers also seized five kilograms of cannabis and £12,000 in cash from Bathgate town centre.

The search of an address in the town's Meadowpark Crescent also resulted in the recovery of another £10,000.

Four men aged between 24 and 38 are expected to appear at Livingston Sheriff Court on Thursday in connection.

Police Scotland chief inspector Stevie Dolan said: "This has been a sizeable seizure of harmful substances before they could make their way on to the streets of West Lothian."
