A man was seen performing an indecent act with no trousers on while walking a dog.

Witnesses reported the "unpleasant and unsettling" incident in the Lagoons area of Musselburgh in East Lothian on Thursday at 10.15am.

The man, who was walking a golden Labrador, was described as having "no clothing on the lower half of his body".

He then walked towards the Goose Green area, at which time police said he was fully clothed again.

The suspect is described as white, in his 20s or early 30s, around 5ft 10in with a slim build. He was wearing a dark grey hooded top with the hood up and when fully clothed was also wearing light grey shorts.

Sergeant Laura White, from Tranent Police Station, said: "Various members of the public witnessed this indecency, which was unpleasant and unsettling for them.

"While we have spoken to several witnesses we are keen to hear from anyone else who was in the Lagoons or Goose Green area on Thursday morning and saw anything suspicious."
