Man arrested after police seize cannabis plants from home

A man has been charged after police seized more than 50 cannabis plants in an East Lothian house.
The 29-year-old was arrested after an intelligence-led raid in Macbeth Moir Road, Musselburgh, on Monday.
They recovered 55 mature cannabis plants with an estimated street value of £12,000.
Sergeant Jonathan Fleetwood said: "Thanks to vital intelligence gathered from the local community we have prevented a substantial quantity of harmful drugs from reaching our streets.
"Tackling those involved in the sale and production of drugs remains a top priority for police in East Lothian and we’re committed to addressing this issue head-on.
"I would urge anyone who has information about drug dealing in their area to come forward immediately."
