Detectives probing an attack at a train station on the day of the Scottish Cup final have released CCTV images of two men.

A 37-year-old man was assaulted at Haymarket station in Edinburgh on Saturday, May 21, after the Rangers v Hibs match at Hampden Park in Glasgow.

The incident happened on platform three of the station at around 9.45pm. The victim was taken to hospital with a head injury and has since been released.

One of the men in the photographs is described as being about 6ft tall, heavy build, with short blonde or red hair and facial hair. He was wearing a black turtle neck top, grey dress trousers and black shoes.

The second man is described as being thin with short blond hair and facial hair. He was wearing a white t-shirt, black shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.
