Second man charged with attempted murder after shooting

A second man has appeared in court charged with attempted murder after a shooting in Edinburgh.
Peter McMurray made a brief appearance at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday following the incident in Cables Wynd, Leith.
A 25-year-old man was taken to hospital with leg injuries after the incident on Friday, August 27.
McMurray, 25, faced charges of attempted murder, assault, being in possession of a knife, and firearms offences.
He made no plea or declaration and the case was committed for further examination.
McMurray is due to make a second appearance on September 13.
Keith Smith, 30, appeared in court on an attempted murder charge last week in connection with the incident.
