The family of a Scots woman who fell to her death from an apartment building in Benidorm have returned to Spain to get answers.

Kirsty Maxwell died after falling from a tenth-floor window on April 29 in the popular tourist area in the south east of Spain.

The 27-year-old from Livingston, West Lothian, was part of a group of more than 20 women who had travelled to the resort for a hen weekend.

Mrs Maxwell, who had only married husband Adam in September, entered a room at Apartmentos Payma which was being used by five men from England.

A Spanish judge, who had placed all five under investigation, wants them to return to Spain.

The family are handing out leaflets and posters to piece together the events leading up to Kirsty's death.

Her husband Adam said: "It is very hard to come back here but we have to for Kirsty.

"There are still a lot of unanswered questions and the only way to get these answered is to come back here.

"For me personally, it is something I have had to come and do. I cannot rest until I know the answers."
