CCTV images have been released after a shop robbery in Edinburgh.

The robbery took place at Nadeem's Store in Stenhouse Cross on September 12.

No one was injured in the incident but a number of items were stolen and police say it was a "frightening experience" for the shop worker involved.

At the time of the incident the man was wearing a quilted jacket with dark trousers and white Adidas trainers.

He is described as being between 5ft 10in and 6ft with a slim build.
