A woman has been taken to hospital after being knocked down by a bus in Stirling.

The collision happened on Murray Place, near Stirling station, at around 12pm on Saturday.

An air ambulance was dispatched but the woman was taken to Forth Valley Hospital by road.

Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: "A woman has been knocked down by a bus on Murray Place.

"It happened at 12.05pm."
