Police surround house over fears for occupant's safety

Emergency services were called to a quiet street in Dunfermline to deal with an incident on Thursday evening.
Around 15 police officers surrounded a house on Trondheim Parkway in the Fife town after receiving a call from a concerned member of the public around 6pm.
Local witnesses told STV News they believed a person may have been in danger inside the two-storey home.
A spokeswoman for the force said the incident was resolved shortly before 9pm and there had been no danger to the public.
She said: "The incident at Trondheim Parkway, Dunfermline, is now safely resolved.
"Officers had been responding to a concern for person call."
