Fraud charge as 'stolen' Bentley found in Pakistan

A man has been charged with fraud and wasting police time after a Bentley reported stolen in Edinburgh was found in Pakistan.
A break-in was reported at a house in The Murrays Brae, in the south of the city, on Monday, May 22.
The car, which is said to be worth more than £55,000, was reported as being taken.
Police discovered the car had been placed in a shipping container that left London on May 2 and had docked in Pakistan on May 26.
Detectives established no crime had taken place in relation to the car being stolen.
A 34-year-old man was charged with fraud and wasting police time on Thursday last week and is due to appear in court at a later date.
