A stretch of the A9 has been closed after a smash involving two lorries.

Two cars were also involved in the crash between Greenloaning and Balhaldie north of Dunblane in Stirlingshire at 3pm on Thursday.

The route has been shut heading southbound while the vehicles are recovered.

Nobody has been seriously injured but major delays are being caused.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Two flatbed lorries and two cars were involved."
