Craft beer maker BrewDog is to open a new "superpub" in Edinburgh city centre.

The self-proclaimed "punk" brewery will set up in the old Clydesbank Bank building on Festival Square off Lothian Road.

BrewDog has revealed its latest bar will boast 25 craft beer taps as well as the usual nibbles and BottleDog.

It will be the firm's 46th pub and second in Edinburgh.

Planning approval for the transformation of the disused building was granted earlier this year, with a licence application approved in September.

The opening date has yet to be confirmed but advertising boards can now be seen in the area.

The venue's Facebook page, BrewDog Lothian Road, said it "cannot wait" to open its doors.
