Man held after 'stolen' dumper truck ploughs into Co-op

A man has been charged after a dumper truck was allegedly stolen before being ploughed into a Co-op, smashing down a wall.
The six-tonne Benford Swivel Dumper was left lodged in the side of the building on Lauder Place, Kirkcaldy.
It is said to have been stolen from a business in the town's Hayfield Industrial Estate.
A 44-year-old man has been charged following the smash on Monday, December 12.
He is due to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court at a later date.
