Pedestrian dies after crash between motorcycle and 4x4

A pedestrian has died after a crash involving a motorbike and a 4x4.
The collision happened on the A917 between Anstruther and Pittenweem in Fife.
A 53-year-old woman was fatally struck by a motorcycle, which collided with a Jeep moments before.
A man, 45, who was riding the motorcycle, also suffered injuries in the crash, which happened shortly before 6pm on Thursday.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "The incident happened at around 5.55pm on Thursday when a Jeep motorcar, a Triumph TT600 motorcycle and a 53-year-old female pedestrian were involved in a collision.
"Police and emergency services attended, however the female pedestrian sadly died at the scene.
"The 45-year-old male motorcyclist sustained a number of injuries and was taken to Ninewells Hospital, Dundee, for further treatment."
