Couple pulled to safety as blaze rips through flat

An elderly couple have been pulled to safety as a blaze ripped through their flat.
Emergency services were called to West Bridge Street in Falkirk shortly after 8am on Tuesday.
Around 15 firefighters are battling the blaze, which happened in a kitchen.
Officers have closed the road.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said: "An elderly woman and an elderly man were removed from the property.
"They are with the Scottish Ambulance Service.
"The fire was on a ground floor flat."
