A lorry and three cars have crashed at a roundabout, causing major tailbacks.

The collision happened at the Redhouse roundabout on the A92 in Kirkcaldy, Fife, shortly before 8.45am on Wednesday.

Three people have been taken to hospital while the roundabout was blocked following the crash.

A Scottish Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: "We dispatched two ambulances, two paramedic response units, a manager, our special operations team and an urgent tier vehicle to the scene.

"Three patients were transported to Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy."
