Thieves have stolen 67 waterproof jackets during a break-in at Dobbies Garden Centre in Edinburgh.

The haul of clothing, worth approximately £4500, was snatched from a Tog 24 store after the outlet in Lasswade, Midlothian, was targeted on Saturday 3 January.

The robbery took place at 7pm and police are appealing for anyone who was in the area or may have information to get in contact.

Detective Constable Cameron Walker said: "We are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area on Saturday around 7pm and who may have seen something suspicious.

"We'd also like to hear from anyone who has been offered a jacket like this for sale."
