A man has been charged after an alleged 15-mile police chase.
Officers were on patrol when they spotted a driver wanted on warrant on Greendykes Road in Edinburgh on Thursday.
The man is said to have made off from police, resulting in a 15-mile pursuit before the driver was stopped on the A68 near Soutra in the Scottish Borders.
The 26-year-old has been charged over alleged road traffic offences and arrested over an outstanding warrant.
