A woman who was reported missing on Thursday afternoon has been taken to hospital for treatment after being exposed to the freezing weather.

Paula Lunam, 39, was last seen leaving her home in Hardie Terrace, East Lothian, at around 4.40pm on Thursday.

She was traced to Preston Road, East Linton, at around 3am on Friday morning.

Mr Lunam was taken to the Royal Infirmary in Edinburgh for treatment after exposure to the weather.

Police thanked members of the public for their assistance.
