Emergency services are tackling a large wildfire in a forest in Alloa.

Firefighters were called out to reports of a blaze in Devilla Forest, near Kincardine, at around 2pm on Monday.

A number of fire engines were deployed to the scene and crews are working to contain and extinguish the flames.

A spokesman for Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were alerted at 2.03pm on Monday to reports of a wildfire near Kincardine.

"Operations control mobilised a number of fire engines to the scene at Devilla Forest and firefighters are working to contain and extinguish the flames.

"There are no casualties. Crews currently remain in attendance."

Police Scotland warned residents nearby to keep their windows and doors shut because of the smoke.
