To celebrate 60 years of children's show Blue Peter and more than 5000 episodes, five ex-presenters are bringing their memories to the Edinburgh Fringe.

Once Seen On Blue Peter is a play about the presenters receiving an award celebrating the anniversary.

From archive clips to on stage antics, the play takes audiences on a journey through the decades.

It features Peter Purves, Janet Ellis, Peter Duncan, Mark Curry and Tim Vincent.

The play relives fan favourite moments such as Lulu the elephant and Janet Ellis breaking the free-falling record.

The former presenter told STV News she was still recognised by people who watched the show during their childhoods.

Ellis said: "There is an element of connection with the generation of children that watched any of us.

"It was completely non-sexist too.

"It never occurred to anyone that the girl was going to do certain items and the boys would do others."
