Woman treated for leg injury after Arthur's Seat fall
A specialist all-terrain ambulance was sent to the Edinburgh landmark in the rescue mission.
A woman has been rushed to hospital after falling on Arthur's Seat.
The woman was walking on the Edinburgh landmark when she fell and injured herself at around 1pm on Tuesday.
A specialist all-terrain ambulance team was sent to the location to rescue her.
She was then taken to the Royal Infirmary where she was treated for a leg injury.
A spokeswoman for the Scottish Ambulance Service said the woman's injury was not life-threatening.
She added: "We received a call at 1.14pm today to attend an incident on Arthur's Seat in Edinburgh.
"Our specialist multi-terrain operations team were dispatched to the scene and once the female patient was safely extracted and treated they were taken to the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary by road ambulance."
