Boy, 15, arrested after masked Halloween raid on shop
An armed male threatened staff with a knife before making off with a three-figure sum of cash.
A 15-year-old boy has been arrested following a masked Halloween raid on a store in Edinburgh.
Police were called to the Margiotta food store on Comiston Road at around 9.50pm on Wednesday after an armed male threatened staff with a knife before making off with a three-figure sum of cash.
The suspect was said to be disguised in skeleton mask, a black catsuit with black gloves.
Officers confirmed they have arrested and charged a teenager following the incident.
A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal and children's reporter.
