Two men have been arrested after police seized £70,000 worth of cannabis during a raid in Fife.

Officers recovered 250 cannabis plants from a shed near Saline Dunfermline, on Tuesday.

The haul of Class B drugs had an estimated potential street value of around £70,000.

Two men aged 23 and 29 years old were arrested and charged and appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court on Wednesday.

Sergeant Neil McGurk said: "Under Operation Prospect, we continue to work hard to tackle drug crime and remove such harmful substances from our communities.

"Drugs and associated criminality can blight communities, and I would like to thank the public who continue to assist us in tackling this issue."
