A man was called a "bomber" while being racially abused by a fellow passenger on a train.

The incident happened in Edinburgh just before 1.30pm on Friday, March 1.

The victim was accused of planning to "bomb a plane" as he travelled between Haymarket and Edinburgh Park stations.

British Transport Police believe the suspect remained on the train until it arrived at Stirling.

Officers are appealing for information to help track him down, and said the man in his late 30s was wearing a red polo short and black jacket with white piping around the cuffs.
