STV Edinburgh launches on Monday with the first broadcast of The Fountainbridge Show.
Ewen Cameron and Hayley Matthews will take to the screen at 7pm to present the magazine show.
It will be followed by Animal 999 at 8:30pm, Edinburgh’s Murder Mysteries at 9pm, STV Edinburgh News at 10pm and Peter & Roughie’s Football Show at 11pm.
Also part of the schedule on the new channel are popular archive programmes including Take the High Road, the first episode of which will be aired at 5.30pm on Tuesday.
STV Edinburgh will also broadcast one hour of non-English speaking content per week, with Polish drama Czas Honoru (Days of Honour) with subtitles beginning on Friday, January 16.
The channel will be on air from midday to midnight each day.
It is the second local TV television service to be launched by STV after the broadcaster won both the Glasgow and Edinburgh licences in January 2013.
STV has also submitted applications to Ofcom to deliver local TV in Aberdeen, Ayr and Dundee.

STV Edinburgh will broadcast on Freeview channel 23, Sky channel 117 and Virgin channel 159 and will be available to watch live on the STV Player.
