Justin Bieber sued for over £50,000 for 'smashing mobile phone'
Singer being sued after allegedly smashing the mobile phone of a man who was filming him.
Justin Bieber is being sued for more than £50,000 after allegedly smashing the mobile phone of a man who was filming him.
Robert Earl Morgan claims the pop star grabbed his phone as he recorded Bieber gulping from a beer bong at a club following a concert last month.
The game was being recorded via Snapchat on Mr Morgan's phone, the lawsuit says, claiming Bieber was "clearly a novice" with the bong and spilling beer over himself.
Mr Morgan, from Houston, Texas, is seeking $75,000 in damages from the 22-year-old singer.
He says he lost photos and important information when the phone was damaged.
The incident allegedly happened at a Houston nightclub called Cle.
Bieber's manager and publicist did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
