Hugh Hefner sells Playboy Mansion to neighbour for $100m
However under terms of the deal 90-year-old Playboy founder may stay there for the rest of his life.
The Playboy Mansion has a new owner after Hugh Hefner sold it to his next-door neighbour for $100 million (£77m).
However, under the terms of the deal, Playboy's 90-year-old founder may stay there for the rest of his life.
Once "Hef" leaves, new owner Daren Metropoulos, 33, plans to connect the five-acre estate to his property.
The homes, built in the 1920s, were originally one estate.
Mr Hefner bought the Playboy Mansion for $1.05m in 1971, quickly turning it into a sexual playground.
In its heyday it was the scene of countless celebrity-filled parties and innumerable tales of shenanigans.
